Nga Kaihoe Whakatere is a Navigation service providing wrap-around care, reflecting a holistic approach. This involves the use of community-based support that seeks to prevent the need for more restrictive or acute levels of care. The Service is tailored to meet the specific needs of Tāngata motuhake in collaboration with their whānau and Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) Mental Health & Addiction Clinical Team. Tāngata Motuhake with complex needs because of co-morbidities are also included.

The Service is open from 8.30am until 5pm Monday to Friday (closed public holidays and weekends).

Referral is from Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) Mental Health & Addiction Clinical Team (NASC). Self and whānau referrals are accepted.
